The Namibian senors get capped three days before the tournament commences on Thursday, 8th February. Namibia plays their first match against Nepal at the WAP cricket ground. A ceremony was held at Wanderers last night to set the pace of the tournament for the Namibian side, Richard Frankle the Cricket Namibia President did the hand over. All the players were is a fine mood to get the tournament on the road.
Together with the capping, Namibia also recieved their colours form the Honoury Sports Commission of Namibia. Where Mr. Mwiya Acting Chief Administrator handed over the Namibian flag and encouraged the Namibian side to do their best in the Competition to advance to the next level of the qualifiers, rising the Namibian flag even higher.
