Day 2 of the Namibian U/19A team tour to Kwazulu Natal Inland.
The Namibian team played Time Cricket against Mpunalanga yesterday, Namibia won the toss and elected to bat first. Only managing to get to 82 all out with Nicol Loftie-Eaton being the highest run scorer with 38 runs. Mpumalanga posted a score of 94 all out with Ramon being the best bowler for Namibia taking 4 wickets for only 12 runs in 4.4 overs. This giving Mpumalanga a lead of 12 runs. Namibia went in to bat again and posted a total of 107/2 with Nicol being the highest runs scorer again with 51 runs of just 36 balls.
Namibia had a lead of 95 runs and sent Mpumalanga in to bat and got 5 wickets for the outright win. They ended up batting the day out and ended on 23 for no loss. This gave Mpumalanga the winning draw as they won the first innings.
Man of the match was awarded to Nicol Loftie-Eaton with his half century and 2 wickets.
Namibia will be playing two T20 games today against Eastern Province and Boland.
