Cricket Namibia has started their year off on a high. The cricket association recently bid the under 19 cricket team a safe voyage as they made their way to New Zealand for 2018 U19 Cricket World Cup. The under 19 team from the moment they won and reserved their spot in the 2018 u19 CWC, team management have been working hard to revaluate and develop each individual player in different playing conditions. The team took part in different tournaments in preparation for the Cup. Namibia will compete in Group C against Bangladesh (13th January), England (15th January) and Canada (18th January), matches taking place in Lincoln in the Canterbury region and Queenstown, a resort town in Otago. The 2018 U19 CWC will commence as from 13 January 2018 to 2 February 2018.
In other News: Namibia to host the ICC World Cricket League – Division 2 in February 2018.
6 Nations one destination Namibia. Six nations including Namibia will be taking part in the cricket world league, and will be battling it out against countries such as Kenya, Nepal, UAE, Oman, Namibia and Canada. The first match will be 8th February 2018 and the Final as well as the playoffs will be held on the 15th February 2018.
