Huge Congratulations to the the selected players for making the Playing XI team set to travel to South Africa on the 29th of November and return on the 4th December.
The U/13 players will have the opportunity to compete at the official CSA U13 Regional Week.
We are pleased to announce that we have the opportunity for U13, U15 & U19 Cricket Namibia Schools teams to travel to South Africa and compete at the official CSA U13 Regional week, U15 Regional week, U20 CUBS week and a U19 tour to Grey High Bloemfontein. These tournaments provide our cricketers with an opportunity to test themselves against quality opposition in high pressure tournaments.
The increase in international tours aligns with Cricket Namibia’s vision to remain globally competitive. These tours provide players the opportunity to grow and develop their skills and talents and provide the best possible opportunity to qualify for and perform at u/19 World Cups when their time arrive.
U13 Cricket Namibia Schools Tour:
Criteria for selection:
- Only performance/stats at the U13 National Week 2024 will be considered
o Statistics utilised: Total runs scored (batters), wickets and economy (bowlers). - The touring team will be comprised of:
o 3 Top Order batters
o 3 Middle order batters/All rounders
o 3 Seam Bowlers
o 2 Spinners
o 1 wicket keeper
o 1 Identified HP Player
Touring dates:
- 29 November- Depart Namibia for Johannesburg and check in to HPC Pretoria
- 30 November- Fixture 1: 50 Over
- 1 December- Fixture 2: 50 Over
- 2 December- Fixture 3: 50 Over
- 3 December- Fixture 4: 50 Over
- 4 December- Depart Johannesburg for Windhoek
