Tsumeb Gymnasium Private School Girls u/13 Cricket Festival
Outjo u13 girls cricket team toured for the very FIRST time since the development of girls cricket started in March 2017. The festival took place as from the 22nd to the 23rd October 2017, a total of 13 girls made their way to Tsumeb where they were accompanied by a coach and manager. The festival was percieved to be a great learning experience and exposure for the girls who have not toured before. The schools that participated in this festival were namely Nara Primary School, Tsumeb Gymnasium and Outjo.
Considering the fact that the Outjo u13 girls had never formally played against other schools or teams, their performance was impecable. The matches were also well organized and the overall performance amongst the girls in this age group was impressives to watch. The Outjo girls showed great sportsmanship and great talentball through out their 20 over game.
