The Outjo Boys and Girls T20 Challenge a Great success.
The tournament was hosted on the 13-14 July 2018 at the Outjo Sports Stadium. The aim of this event was to promoting a healthy competition, commitment, dedication and hard work between players and their opponents we also aim at promoting enjoyment, fun and skills development from all players who participated in the tournament, about three teams competed namely Cheetahs, Lions and Tigers in their respective age groups from girls u13, boys u13 and boys u15 respectively, the tournament was played according to the round robin basis which allows each team to get the opportunity to against each other.
We are happy and confident that every player who participated in this development tournament learn a lot and has improved his/her skills of cricket, the T20 challenge was also part of our plans to prepare our teams for their upcoming tours such as Walvis Bay Junior Cricket Festival which is a step away and also the upcoming Cricket Namibia Schools cricket league, we want to ensure that both our teams are ready and confident enough to face the upcoming challenges in order to produce better and excellent results in their matches.
