Cricket Namibia is excited to announce the signing of three rookie players for 2020. Nicol Loftie-Eaton, Jan Izak de Villiers, and Mauritius Ngupita have all been included in the Men’s ODI squad for the ODI Tri-Series in Oman early January 2020. These young players who finished Grade 12 recently have proved to be very talented and adds a good balance of youth to the Men’s Squad.
Head Coach Pierre de Bruyn added; “I am very excited to welcome these three players to the professional life of a sportsman, they are all very unique in their own way and adds a lot to the balance of the squad. They have shown a lot of promise and are rewarded with rookie contracts for 2020.”
“I am looking forward to being part of their cricket journey and to help and guide them to become international stars,” De Bruyn added.
