The Namibian seniors secure 5th consecutive win in the Sunfoil 3day competition, extending their lead to 113,20 points, with Kwazulu Natal well behind in second place on 86,74 points.
Namibia Seniors played against Eastern Province from the 11-14 January in the South African Domestic competition.With a Debute by N.Davin Namibia had a new ace up their sleeve. At 4/53 in their first innings Namibia was struggling, thats’s when Niko Davin and Jan Frylinck came to the rescue with an 88-run partnership for the fifth wicket. Davin was eventually out for 47 off 37 balls (9×4), while Frylinck top-scored with 56 from 78 balls (9×4, 1×6).
Zane Green added 34 before Namibia were all out for 226. Namibia’s bowlers gave a great performance as they reduced EP to 56/8 off only 20 overs.
