Namibian ladies take part in Zimbabwe Women’s T20 Challenge

The Namibian women’s team is days away from heading to Zimbabwe to take part in the Zimbabwe women’s T20 challenge. The tournament was brought about purely to promote women’s cricket in Africa as a region and to exercise the participants of the recent ICC Africa Women’s T20 Qualifiers that took place in September 2017.

ICC Africa Women’s T20 Qualifiers took place in Namibia, and the then underdog, Uganda came out on top of the log against the favorites and now hosts of the Zimbabwe Women’s T20 challenge.

We hope that Namibia is well equipped for this tournament and that they represent the country with great pride.
