After the Namibian U19 team defeated Kenya in the Plate quater final playoff for the 13th/14th position, Namibia advanced to face Ireland in the plate semi-final playoff for the 13th/14th position.
Namibia U19 played against Ireland’s U19’s and the lost by a 102 runs. Which left Namibia to settle for 14th position in the ICC Cricket World Cup 2018. Although, Namibia did not place very well, Namibia made the top 10 for the events top run scorers with Lohan Louwerns coming in at number 6.
