After being sent in to bat, Namibia piled on the runs from the start to post a huge total of 230 for six wickets off their 20 overs.
All of their top order batsmen made telling contributions, with Zane Green leading the way with 63 off 38 balls, which included three sixes and six fours.
Gerhard Erasmus scored 39 off 27 balls (2×6, 2×4); JP Kotze scored 28 off 20; JJ Smit scored 37 off 15 (3×6, 2×4) and Jan Frylinck scored 22 not out off eight balls (3×6) as they posted a big total of more than 11 runs to the over.
In the visitors’ innings, Jan Frylinck made the initial breakthrough, dismissing Joshua Richards for 10 and Grant Roelofsen for 14, and when Michael van Lingen dismissed Jonathan Bird (17) and Bryce Parsons (3) in quick succession, they were struggling at 45 for four wickets.
Jason Smith with 35 runs off 22 balls and Dayyaan Galiem with 34 off 13 (3×6, 2×4) put on 534 runs for the seventh wicket but it was too little too late as they were all out for 139 to give Namibia a comprehensive 91-run victory.
For Namibia, Jan Frylinck took 2/11, Mauritius Ngupita 2/27, Michael van Lingen 2/6 and Nicol Loftie-Eaton 2/8.
