WINDHOEK – The Namibian Eagles cricket team and Richelieu have sealed their recent
partnership with a celebratory event held at Wanderers Sports Club today. With a generous
splash of orange on this prestigious Windhoek cricket pitch, invited guests, which included
stakeholders, trade partners, players and media gathered for an all-out cricket and brandy
affair.
Richelieu has been involved with Cricket Namibia for the past three years being the main
sponsor for the annual and well known T20 league and the main advertising sponsor at the
Wanders Sports Grounds.
The reveal was an exciting culmination of months of negations and discussions to ensure all
International Cricket Council (ICC) regulations were met. This announcement amplifies the
partnership between Cricket Namibia and Richelieu while guests were introduced to the
newly branded RICHELIEU EAGLES and the “Your Team. Your Richelieu. Your Way.” campaign
message.
Richelieu is about discovering the richness in life’s everyday moments and the moments that
bring us together. The campaign is centered around giving cricket fans the chance to celebrate
their love for their team (and Richelieu) with the freedom to do things their own way.
