- 1991 selected as captain for the FIRA Rugby World Cup (France) and Namibia Schools Cricket team
- 4/90 against the Netherlands at the age of 16 years
- 2/94 in ICC Trophy tournament, in Kenya
- 3-4/97 in ICC Trophy tournament, in Malaysia (- captain in Namibia's last three matches)
- 5/97 established the Namibia Cricket Academy, together with Deon Kotze, in Windhoek)
- 6/2001 in ICC Trophy tournament, in Canada as the captain of the National team (- team qualified for the 2003 Cricket World Cup)
- 2/2002 relinquished the National team's captaincy (to vice-captain Deon Kotze)
- 3/2003 represented his country in the Cricket World Cup in South Africa
- 7/2005 in ICC Trophy tournament, in Ireland (retired afterwards from cricket, due to a back injury)
- 3/2006 appointed as interim national selector.

Career:
- 3-4/97 in ICC Trophy tournament, in Malaysia - (ended in eighth place amongst all the bowlers, with a broken thumb!)
- 6/2001 in ICC Trophy tournament, in Canada - (member of the winning team who also qualified for the 2003 Cricket world Cup)
- Achieved bowling figures of 10/3/28/7 against the visiting side of South African Country Districts, on 29 March 2002-3
- 4/2003 represented Namibia during the Cricket World Cup (in South Africa) - (he shone with a good bowling performance of 10/2/43/5, against England (in Port Elizabeth, South Africa)
- he took the wicket of the world renowned batsman, Sachin Tendulkar, bowling him in the Namibia versus India match (in Pietermaritzburg, South Africa), with Tendulkar's score on 152)
- Suffered a back injury, which resulted in his retirement from cricket in 2005.

Career:
- Represented school teams and gained National colours in Athletics, Cricket, Hockey, Karate, Soccer and Tennis
- 1985-88 represented National Schools' Cricket team and then also selected for the "Strelitzia" team that toured to England
- 1991 became the first Namibian cricket player to play overseas, when he went to England, for cricket purposes
- 1992 saw him again played cricket in England
- 2/94 in ICC Trophy tournament, in Kenya (- part of winning team of the Plate Division and Phillip Snow trophy - Player of the Tournament, due to excellent batting and bowling performances)
- 3-4/97 in ICC Trophy tournament, in Malaysia
- 6/2001 in ICC Trophy tournament, in Canada (- part of winning team who qualified for 2003 Cricket World Cup)
- 2-3/2003 represented his country in the Cricket World Cup in SA (- retired from cricket afterwards, due to working commitments, but played two matches for Namibia in November 2004, on their tour to Zimbabwe because a number of players were unavailable).
He is the player who has played the most ICC-matches for the Namibian team, namely 23.
